I had the pleasure of being chosen to make cupcakes for a very special couple celebrating their fiftieth wedding anniversary this Saturday. Their children did an amazing job transforming Robert Livermore Center's Cresta Blanca Ballroom into an golden paradise! The room was decorated in gold and black with beautiful high ceilings and black & white feather centerpieces, personalized waters and excellent food. The couple is from Puerto Rico so island- like foods and drinks were served. They choose a Pina Colada mini cupcake: coconut, pineapple & coconut rum cake with a coconut rum cream cheese frosting. As well as, Island Brownie mini cupcake: coconut chocolate cake with a chocolate ganache and a Bavarian chocolate coconut frosting.
They played Latin music that got everyone on the dance floor & their granddaughter made a slide show of their fifty years together that was priceless. any generations in one room sharing the love and support of this couple was a beautiful sight!
